Psychotherapy in English
I offer psychotherapy in English for you who experience anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, or a sense of feeling stuck in life.
When we struggle emotionally, our mental and physical energy often decreases. Therapy can help create calm, clarity, and a better understanding of what you are going through. As pressure and anxiety begin to ease, it becomes easier to see your patterns more clearly and make changes that align with your needs and values.
In our sessions we explore the thoughts, emotions, and relational experiences that may be influencing how you feel today. Many difficulties are connected to earlier experiences, attachment patterns, or unprocessed emotions that are hard to understand alone.
A central aim of therapy is to strengthen your ability to understand your own thoughts and feelings so that reactions become more manageable and less overwhelming.
You always decide the pace and focus of the process.
I draw from several evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including:
Metacognitive Therapy – working with thinking patterns and attention to reduce worry and rumination.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – identifying and changing unhelpful thought and behaviour patterns.
Emotion-Focused Therapy – developing awareness of emotions and bodily signals to better understand and communicate your needs.
Alongside my private practice, I provide counselling at the Danish Psychiatric Foundation on topics such as trauma, PTSD, ADHD, depression, anxiety, and addiction.
The most important element in therapy is the relationship between therapist and client. A safe and trusting environment is essential for meaningful change. For this reason, I offer a free introductory session before beginning a therapy process.
Psychotherapy can help you gain clarity, develop healthier patterns, and create greater balance and well-being in your life.
